A trip, day by day

Name the trip and give it a start and an end.

Open it. If the trip is 45 days or less, every day from the start to the end is listed, including a day with nothing on it. A longer trip lists only the days that have something on them. A line with no date sits at the end.

On a day, add the hotel, the car, a ticket, insurance, an activity, a contact, or a note. Put the day on the line if it belongs to one day. Each line can have an address, and up to two files, a photo or a PDF.

A weekend is enough to see how it works. Friday is the hotel. Saturday is lunch. Sunday is the train. The empty gaps stay on the list, so you can see which day still needs a line.

You may send a line to Family, Friends, or Work. They see the name and the date only. Your note and your files stay with you. There is no thread under the line, and it is not a group chat.

A place you liked while you were away can be saved into Places. When you are home, mark it Gem, Gemlem, or Lemon, and add the short note you would have written on a scrap.

When the trip is over, mark it finished. It folds under past trips. You can open it again.
